Prosthetics

At Perry Prosthetics, our experienced prosthetists understand how challenging the post-operative treatment period can be for amputee patients. We have worked closely with countless patients (both first-time prostheses recipients and individuals with existing prostheses) to help them achieve positive treatment outcomes with our wide variety of advanced custom prosthetic treatment options.

What is a Prosthesis?

A prosthesis is a substitute for a part of the body that may have been missing at birth, or that is lost in an accident or through amputation. Many amputees have lost a limb as part of treatment for cancer, diabetes or severe infection.

Technological developments are also improving the function of limb prostheses. Modern prosthetic limbs have battery-powered motors to help improve the function enhancing activities of daily living. Modern prosthetics like hands, feet and face look and function very naturally.
