T.A.S.K. The "Toledo Amputee Support Klinic" is a new support group available for amputees and their loved ones, as well as other healthcare professionals, to be utilized as a source of information and education concerning the loss of a limb. Losing a limb is a life-changing event, one which leaves a person and his or her family with many unanswered questions. The goals of the support group are to answer these questions, let people know they're not alone, and give amputees an opportunity to meet and interact with others who have experienced similar circumstances. Chris Perry is the director of TASK. He has been an amputee since 1984 and has learned a great deal about amputee care and prosthetic rehabilitation. Click here to visit the TASK site
